BASIC BLOOD CHEMISTRY REVIEW SERVICE POLICY
Please read through the specific policy for our basic blood chemistry before using this website or any information or services provided by Jules McKie Health or before booking this service, appointment or consultation.

BASIC BLOOD CHEMISTRY REVIEW SERVICE POLICY
We understand there is a bit to read here, but these terms help ensure that expectations, responsibilities and boundaries are clear for both you and us. Please take a few moments to read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing or commencing any service.

By accessing our website, purchasing a product or service, booking a consultation, or engaging Jules McKie Health, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Specific Terms & Conditions for Returning Clients
These Specific Terms & Conditions apply to the Basic Blood Chemistry Review offered by Jules McKie Health. They should be read in conjunction with any applicable client agreement, booking terms and privacy policy.
By purchasing or booking this service, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.

1. Eligibility
The Basic Blood Chemistry Review is exclusively available to returning clients who have previously completed a comprehensive 1:1 functional blood chemistry interpretation, combined health analysis and individually tailored nutritional protocol with Jules McKie Health.

This service is intended to support ongoing health maintenance following previous individualised care. It is not available to new clients or individuals who have not previously undertaken the comprehensive assessment process.

Eligibility is subject to the practitioner's discretion and confirmation that the client's current circumstances are appropriate for a limited-scope maintenance review.

Where significant changes in health, new symptoms, complex concerns or additional investigative needs are identified, a more comprehensive service may be required.

2. Scope of Service and Inclusions
The Basic Blood Chemistry Review is a limited-scope maintenance service and includes the following:

A. Basic Functional Blood Chemistry Review
A review of an agreed set of relevant blood test results, considered in the context of the client's previously established health history, previous assessment findings and available clinical information.

The review is intended to identify relevant changes or patterns within the limits of the service. It is not a repeat of the original comprehensive functional blood chemistry interpretation or a full reassessment of the client's health.

B. Maintenance Supplement Recommendations
Maintenance supplement recommendations for a maximum period of three (3) months, where appropriate, based on the available blood results, previous findings and current information supplied by the client.

Recommendations are intended to support ongoing health maintenance rather than establish a new therapeutic protocol or address newly developed health concerns.

C. One 45-Minute Consultation
One (1) consultation of 45 minutes' duration to discuss the review findings, explain relevant observations and clarify the maintenance supplement recommendations.

The consultation is limited to the scope of the Basic Blood Chemistry Review and does not include a comprehensive reassessment, investigation of unrelated concerns or the development of additional treatment strategies.

No additional consultations, ongoing monitoring or continuing practitioner support are included unless separately agreed in writing.

3. Pathology and Information Limits
The service covers only the blood test results and supporting information agreed upon at the time of booking.
To maintain the intended scope of this service, the client must provide relevant pathology results and requested information in an organised and timely manner.

The review does not automatically include:
-
Unlimited pathology reports or extensive historical blood test comparisons.
-
Comprehensive analysis of multiple new or unrelated health concerns.
-
Extensive interpretation of complex, specialised or newly requested investigations.
-
Reassessment of the client's complete health history, symptoms, lifestyle and nutritional needs.
-
Repeated reviews of additional results submitted after the initial review has commenced.
-
Research, correspondence or analysis requiring substantial additional practitioner time beyond the agreed scope.
Where the volume, complexity or nature of the information supplied exceeds what is reasonably covered by a basic review, Jules McKie Health may recommend a more comprehensive service.

Any additional work and associated fees will be discussed with the client and agreed upon before proceeding. If the client does not wish to proceed with the additional service, the review may be limited to the information reasonably covered by the original booking, or the practitioner may determine that the service is not suitable to continue.

4. Limitations of the Review
The Basic Blood Chemistry Review is not a substitute for a comprehensive functional assessment, a new personalised therapeutic protocol or medical care.

It does not include:
-
A new root-cause investigation.
-
Comprehensive interpretation of complex or extensive pathology.
-
Assessment or management of newly developed symptoms or suspected medical conditions.
-
A revised or replacement therapeutic protocol.
-
Extensive dietary planning or a new individualised nutrition plan.
-
Additional functional testing or test ordering.
-
Ongoing tracking of symptoms, progress or clinical outcomes.
-
Unlimited questions, email correspondence, messaging or follow-up support.

If the client's needs extend beyond maintenance, Jules McKie Health may recommend an appropriate alternative service or referral to another healthcare professional.

The client acknowledges that a previous comprehensive assessment does not mean all future health concerns can be addressed within this limited-scope service.

5. Maintenance Supplement Recommendations and Three-Month Endpoint
Maintenance supplement recommendations are intended for a maximum period of three (3) months from the date the recommendations are provided, unless otherwise specified in writing.

The three-month period is the maximum intended duration of the recommendations, not a guarantee that every supplement should or will be required for the full period. Recommendations may need to be changed or discontinued earlier if circumstances warrant.

The service does not include automatic renewal, ongoing supplement monitoring, repeat pathology interpretation, a subsequent supplement review or an extension of the recommendations beyond the agreed period.

At the end of the three-month period, the service is considered complete. If the client wishes to continue receiving practitioner support, review updated blood results or reassess their supplement requirements, a further appointment or appropriate service must be arranged separately.

Supplement recommendations are based on the information available at the time of review. The client is responsible for advising Jules McKie Health of relevant changes in health status, medications, existing supplements, allergies, pregnancy status where applicable, and any new diagnoses or medical advice that may affect the suitability of recommendations.
Supplement products are not included in the service fee unless expressly stated otherwise. All supplement purchases are an additional expense payable by the client.

Supplement availability, formulations and product suitability may change. Where necessary, an alternative may be discussed, and any material changes to recommendations will be communicated appropriately.

Clients should consult their GP, pharmacist or other appropriately qualified healthcare professional regarding potential interactions with medications, contraindications, new or worsening symptoms, or changes to prescribed treatment.
Prescribed medications must not be discontinued or altered on the basis of this review without advice from the prescribing practitioner.

6. Consultation Conditions
The service includes one (1) 45-minute consultation.

The consultation is intended to discuss the basic blood chemistry review and the associated maintenance supplement recommendations. It is not an open-ended appointment for unrelated health concerns, extensive additional interpretation or the creation of a new protocol.

Clients are expected to attend at the scheduled time and participate from a suitable, private environment where they can engage in the consultation without unnecessary interruptions.

The consultation will conclude at the scheduled end time. Where additional time is required, this must be arranged separately and may incur an additional fee.

Any additional consultation must be booked and paid for in accordance with the applicable service and booking terms.

7. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
-
Provide complete, accurate and current blood test results and requested health information.
-
Disclose relevant changes in symptoms, medications, supplements, diagnoses and health circumstances.
-
Inform Jules McKie Health of any significant medical advice or treatment changes that may affect recommendations.
-
Seek appropriate medical assessment for new, worsening or concerning symptoms.
-
Follow up abnormal or concerning blood test results with their GP or relevant medical specialist when indicated.
-
Understand that nutritional recommendations do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.
-
Respect the defined scope, inclusions and communication boundaries of the service.

The quality and limitations of the review depend on the accuracy, completeness and relevance of the information supplied.

If information is incomplete, significant new concerns arise or further investigation is indicated, the practitioner may request additional information, recommend another service or refer the client to an appropriate healthcare professional.

8. Communication and No Implied Ongoing Support
The service fee covers only the inclusions expressly stated in these terms.

The Basic Blood Chemistry Review does not establish an ongoing practitioner relationship that includes unlimited access, continuous monitoring or informal clinical support outside the agreed service.

It does not include:
-
Ongoing email or messaging support for clinical questions.
-
Repeated questions about unrelated symptoms or health concerns.
-
Interpretation of additional blood results submitted after the review.
-
Ongoing adjustments to supplement recommendations.
-
Additional research or clinical analysis beyond the agreed scope.
-
Unscheduled consultations or continuing access to the practitioner.

Reasonable administrative communication directly related to arranging the included consultation or delivering the agreed service may be undertaken as necessary. Administrative communication does not constitute an additional clinical consultation or an entitlement to ongoing clinical advice.

Questions or requests that require additional assessment, interpretation, research or practitioner time may require a separately booked service and additional fees, which will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding.

Jules McKie Health is committed to providing considered, professional care within the boundaries of the service purchased. Clear communication and defined service limits help ensure that appropriate time and attention can be given to each client.

9. Blood Chemistry Interpretation and Medical Care
Functional blood chemistry interpretation involves reviewing available pathology results in the context of relevant health information and nutritional practice. It is not a medical diagnosis and does not replace assessment, diagnosis or treatment by a GP or medical specialist.

Functional considerations may differ from laboratory reference ranges. Neither a result within a laboratory reference range nor a functional interpretation alone can establish or exclude a medical condition.

The review is limited by the information available and cannot guarantee the identification of every relevant health concern or predict future health outcomes.

Clients remain responsible for maintaining appropriate medical care and discussing abnormal, unexpected or concerning pathology results with their treating healthcare professional.

Where results or reported symptoms suggest a potentially urgent medical concern, the client will be advised to seek appropriate medical attention rather than relying on this maintenance service.

10. Fees, Booking, Cancellation and Rescheduling
The service fee is payable in accordance with the booking and payment terms communicated at the time of purchase.
The included 45-minute consultation must be scheduled by mutual arrangement.

Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be submitted by email to info@julesmckiehealth.com with a minimum of 48 business hours' notice, Monday to Friday, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late cancellations, missed appointments and rescheduling are subject to the applicable booking and cancellation policy disclosed at the time of booking, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Any additional work, consultation time, assessment or support outside the agreed inclusions will be discussed with the client before additional fees are incurred.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies available to the client under applicable Australian Consumer Law.

11. Privacy and Handling of Health Information
Personal and health information supplied for this service will be handled in accordance with the applicable Jules McKie Health privacy policy and relevant privacy obligations.

The client is responsible for ensuring that the information supplied is accurate and relevant to the review. Health information will be used for the purposes of providing the agreed service and handled in accordance with applicable requirements.

12. Service Completion
The Basic Blood Chemistry Review is considered complete once the agreed review has been conducted, the maintenance supplement recommendations have been provided where appropriate, and the included 45-minute consultation has been delivered.

The service does not include an automatic follow-up, ongoing practitioner monitoring or an additional review at the end of the three-month period.

Any further service must be separately requested, assessed for suitability, booked and paid for in accordance with the applicable terms.

13. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing or booking the Basic Blood Chemistry Review, the client confirms that they:
-
Meet the eligibility requirements for this returning-client service.
-
Understand the limited scope and inclusions of the review.
-
Understand that the review covers only the agreed pathology and information.
-
Acknowledge that maintenance supplement recommendations are for a maximum period of three months.
-
Understand that one 45-minute consultation is included.
-
Acknowledge that additional interpretation, assessments, protocols, consultations and ongoing support are not included unless separately agreed.
-
Accept responsibility for supplying accurate health information and seeking appropriate medical care when required.
-
Understand that the service concludes once the stated inclusions have been delivered, with no implied ongoing support.

These terms are intended to establish clear expectations, protect the integrity of the service and support a professional working relationship between Jules McKie Health and its returning clients.
